Recently, I’ve returned from a longer travel. I stayed abroad for almost two months for the purpose of photography. Another series with a more detailed description regarding this travel will follow. Anyways, in the first days I was fortunate to make another visit in this particular forest possible. On the second try, mist appeared as I’d hoped for with all my heart. I walked in again during darkness and dawn, fortunately all on my own. Unfortunately, the fog didn’t last very long as I had feared but already expected. Good news is, at least I covered a slightly different area more than the one during my visit two years ago (results in the links below). As the mist disappeared, I was kind of dissatisfied because I knew there would have been much more to see and photograph. Little later, it made me think about photography. Maybe I should focus more on what I’ve achieved in this little of time I’ve had.
So, I’m back now but already realize that I’m not happy about it. It feels as if I’m about to lose everything I have become once again. I guess, the achievement was to be all on my own and don’t care about anything related to a different life. My days were simple, but very worthy.
